Nutrition Coaching with Heather
After suffering for years with many health problems such as IBS, bloating, heartburn, low iron levels, constant fatigue and an absent menstrual cycle, I wanted to find a solution to my omnipresent issues. I felt failed by traditional medicine as doctor after doctor prescribed me pills to mask my symptoms, as opposed to wanting to get to the root of the issue and fix it.
Feeling somewhat hopeless, I took matters into my own hands, began doing my own research and, subsequently, I turned to food and nutrition as a means to cure myself. I experienced, first hand, the true power of a plant-based diet and the principle of viewing "food as medicine". To deepen my knowledge in this area, I completed my Certificate in Plant Based Nutrition with the prestigious Centre for Nutrition Studies (and eCornell), led by Dr T. Colin Campbell and Dr Thomas Campbell. Knowledge is power and power is gained by sharing knowledge, not hoarding it - hence I have established my nutrition coaching programme. My mission is to help people use food to improve their health (mental and physical), their performance (athletic or day-to-day) and the overall quality of their life. I work together with you to assess where you are currently at on your nutrition journey, where you have experienced the most challenges and what your goals are. Together, we will create a bespoke plan which will enable you to adapt sustainable changes into your lifestyle and I will be there to guide you over the course of the programme to help you achieve your goals. The first place we start is with a free consultation, with no pressure placed on you to sign up to a programme. So get in touch if you want to have a chat! |
Run Coaching with Zandy
I love to challenge myself as an athlete and test my limits in different race formats, different distances and different environments. My running resume reflects my natural curiosity as I have successfully competed in races such as the Atacama Crossing (2017 Champion), Keys 100 (2018 Champion), Badwater 135 and the Mohican 100.
"Your race, Your pace" As a coach, my mission is to help each athlete reach his/her unique goals and to realise their full potential, while avoiding injuries. Similar to my running philosophy, I love to challenge myself as a coach too and have helped runners achieve their various goals - whether it be to qualify for Boston, run a multi-stage race in Costa Rica or complete their first 10km. |
